Louis Howell is an award-winning custom home builder that has been in the industry since 1992. After working for seven years with another builder, he started his own company in 1999. Over the course of his career, he has also developed multi-family properties, lead entire home renovations and built restaurants. While he has a large variety of experience, his true passion is designing and building high-quality, energy efficient custom homes. The Avant Group works under his philosophy that a great home begins with a great design where every detail is thoughtfully considered in order to build the best we can. Heaven Porteous comes from New York with a foundation in Fine Arts. After making a natural transition into design in 2015 while under the tutelage of builders, developers and brokers, she also obtained a license in real estate in order to be uniquely involved in a home's story from a ‘napkin drawing’ conception to point of sale. Surrounded by experienced professionals in business, home building and brokering, her eye for home design led The Avant Group aesthetic to compete at the top of modern and contemporary markets. Her skills in blending functionality with high design allow clients to get the look they desire in an environment that works for them and their budget.
